Biograd is one of the few cities in the region, if not the only, that can claim to have several pristine beaches in the near vicinity of the city centre. In the north-western part of the city expands the spacious gravel beach Bošana with its gradual access to water and numerous facilities. On the opposite side, in the south-eastern part of the city, there is an array of beautiful beaches encircled by a thick pine forest. The succession starts with the private beach of Hotels Ilirija and Adriatic, and it merges with the gravel beach Dražica, finally stretching to the sandy Soline Bay. There is a big waterslide with a diving centre on Dražica beach. About three kilometres away from the city centre there is another splendid beach located in a sandy cove surrounded by a pine forest – Crvena Luka.
